Newsletter- My W nose Growing up, I was very often teased about my W nose so much so that I couldnโt be bothered about it anymore, I even teased me about it too. Now, pointing it out to me is like reminding me my birthday is September 18. (Lol… I saw what you did there Ada)
Not everyone is that comfortable with any perceived โphysical flawsโ and I totally understand. I remember the few times some bullies tried to ridicule my nose. I would say to them, “Itโs my nose, it fits me, iโm breathing fine and I am used to it”, you should be too. Most kids just didnโt know how to respond to that level of confidence and sure enough most just never referenced it again. Interestingly my attitude earned me a lot of great friends back then.
The day you embrace yourself completely your confidence could go from 10% to 100% and the quality of your life will change for the best.
My W nose didnโt stop me. I never saw it as a flaw nor did I allow other peopleโs perceptions of me influence the opinion of how I viewed myself. Let me put it this way, Ada with the โWโ nose has and is making huge impact in her generation
in fact thank God my nose is different so I donโt look like everybody else! How would you all differentiate me
But seriously stop seeing flaws in yourself, you may not like a certain feature of yours but donโt let it hold you down or back. As a matter of fact it can be your conversation starter! Come on, this difference has got to count for something ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
For example
Someone: Hey! Your ears stick out dude!
You: Hey you noticed? Nice, my name is DJ Horphuray and I am a Christian MC, nice to meet you! (Shakes hand)… Please donโt tag him
I guarantee all the people you meet will leave with an indelible impression about you and would like to meet up with you again for any reason.
Take it from me, I have a W nose
