What are you doing with the time you have now in preparation for the time beyond now?

The other day my daughter Emma-Jane asked me an interesting question, she said, “Mummy, when we get to heaven will you keep asking me to do my homework?” I responded with laughter, actually, I had a good laugh, She was fed up with school work that day. One other time she told my husband that she couldn’t wait to be an adult so she would be homework free.

There is time for everything. Firstly, A time for preparation and then time for the presentation. A presentation without proper preparation results in a pitiful display of poor time management. (Ermmm ”require to acquire” is that you ) lol.

Time with reference to eternity and time with reference to now, either of the two you have been given a golden opportunity which may never come again. A lady once said to me that she feels she’ll be a more powerful Christian if she could have more time off work to study her Bible, another said he wished he could have more time of his tight schedule to take 2 weeks online course to boost his career…

Either you realize it or you don’t there will always be accountability required after every time slot given, just like this sit at home period. The prepared will return from the lockdown more qualified, a few others will show up over-qualified for their current positions and unfortunately, a lot will be unprepared for the reshuffling and sudden promotions, they will have to struggle to do then what they could and should have conveniently done now. Also, how would we recognize the voice of the Lord if we don’t know him? Matt 25: 31-46

Remember Jesus’s parable of the 10 virgins and the parable of the talents? Both in Matt 25:1-30. Take some time to prepare and some more time to prepare, Be among the few to show up over-qualified. The ones who did today what they should do today. The more importance Ada Ehi Newsletters
